Mancini wants Torres

Posted by Nenad Grujicic On July - 26 - 2010

While City is close to signing Balotelli, it is expected that Super Mario will sign this week, Mancini is already trying to get Fernando Torres from Liverpool. Torres is not in good relationship with the owners, so his transfer to City is not so unlikely.

Rumours are saying that Liverpool wants £60million for Torres, and this is not to much for City owners. With Torres as a central forward and with Tevez and Balotelli on the side, City’s attack would be one of the best in the world.

“Torres is one of the best strikers in Europe and is already playing in the Premier League for three years and knows it very well. But it depends on his situation – his price and whether he wants to come,” said Mancini.

City are still tracking Milner but if they manage to sign both Torres and Balotelli, Milner will probably stay in Aston Villa.

Atletico Madrid landing Diego Godin

Posted by David On July - 25 - 2010

Our reports from capital city of Spain said that Atl. Madrid is on clinch to sign Villarreals’s defender, Diego Godin, and the price will be €18m. The deal could be reached within this week. Our reports said that player is ready to go.

The problem between clubs could be Atletico’s offer, because they are able to pay half now, and half next season. Atl. Madrid is trying to rebuild team after successful last season, winning Europa cup. They are preparing for Champions league now.

If Villarreal refuses, Atletico is not ready to offer something better, as Godin has only two more years contract. But if he leaves, Yellow Submarines will go after Valencia’s Carlos Marchena. We have information that Inter has Diego on shortlist, but that they are not interested right now.

Other transfer news:
- Maicon said that it will be Massimo Moratti (president of Inter) who will decide his future.
- Man. City selling loads their players, like Bellamy, Ireland, Onuoha and Wright-Phillips.
- Gerrard on Mourinho’s list.
- Chelsea and Man. City close to sign David Luiz. The price for this defender is €25m.

Liverpool falling apart?!

Posted by Nenad Grujicic On July - 25 - 2010

Eventhough Liverpool brought Roy Hodgson on the bench instead of Rafa Benitez, who signed for european champions, key players still dont believe in this project. Javier Mascherano is close to joining Benitez in Inter. Inter is also interested in Kuyt. Today we found out that Torres is not happy in Liverpool anymore, he said that he loves the club and fans, but he is not in good reationship with the owners. Chelsea is waiting to see how will things with Torres and Liverpool develop, and meanwhile they are already gathering money for Torres. That the situation with Torres is critical, also confirmed the manager of Liverpool Roy Hodgson.

This is it? No, there is also doubt about Gerrard staying in Liverpool. Real Madrid manager Jose Mourinho will try once more.  We will see in incoming days, how things will end for Liverpool.
