Juventus has finally confirmed about Christian Poulsen joining the Liverpool side for a deal worth £4.5 million. The amount will be paid in 2 installments; the first installment is expected to be paid when the player signs on the Liverpool contract and the next installment in July 2011.
There is a chance of paying an additional £1m to the Danish midfielder depending upon the player’s performance and others factors. Liverpool have been behind the Poulsen in this entire summer but there were reports that said the team will not take a decision until the defensive midfielder Mascherano leaves from the side.
Javier Mascherano finally confirmed on Wednesday evening about his move from the side because he was looking for a change in his lifestyle and will move away from England. His agent from Spain has confirmed about signing the contract with Barcelona is almost certain. However, there is no official confirmation from Liverpool regarding this matter till now.
