“I thought at the start of the year there were three fantastic free transfers available – David James, Joe Cole and William Gallas. It is a possibility to sign William. His wages aren’t a problem. Sources from White Hart Lane have confirmed that Gallas should pass his medical today and he is expected to sign a contract with Spurs in next few days.
