Tottenham target Osvaldo 'non-transferable', claims former agent

Andre Villas-Boas has been warned that the Argentine-born Italian striker is considered indispensable to Roma by Dario Decoud, one of the player’s former representatives

Reported Tottenham target Pablo Osvaldo is “virtually non-transferable” according to one of the player’s former representatives.

The Argentine-born striker, who now represents Italy, is just one of a number of striking options Andre Villas-Boas is said to be considering.

Osvaldo, 26, has been in impressive form since joining Serie A side Roma from Spanish outfit Espanyol in 2011, netting 22 times in just 42 appearances.

And Dario Decoud, the player’s former agent and long-time friend, has confirmed the Giallorossi have no intention of parting with their star man.

“Osvaldo is very focused and wants to finish this season well,” he told Sport Mediaset.

“Pablo wants to repay the faith shown in him by [coach Aurelio] Andreazzoli. I know for a certainty that Roma consider him a key player and virtually non-transferable.”
