Bayern exit likely, says Tymoshchuk

The veteran midfielder has admitted that his spell with the Bundesliga giants is set to come to an end this summer when his contract expires

Anatoliy Tymoshchuk has revealed that he will probably leave Bayern Munich at the end of the season.

The experienced midfielder’s contract with the club ends in June, and he has admitted that he is unlikely to ink a new deal as he wants regular first-team football elsewhere.

“I think that I will move on this summer,” the 34-year-old was quoted as saying by Kicker.

“Time and time again, I get the feeling that I will get playing time, and then it doesn’t happen. It’s rather annoying.”

Tymoshchuk joined Bayern from Zenit St Petersburg in the summer of 2009, but has never been able to secure regular first team action at the Allianz Arena.

The Ukrainian has made just 12 Bundesliga appearances so far this term, starting only once.
