England winger Andros Townsend has signed a new four-year contract with Tottenham.

The 22-year-old made a scintillating introduction to his international career with two emphatic performances against Montenegro and Poland during the international break, pushing England to the World Cup finals.

And now the academy graduate can celebrate his week with a new four-year contract, awarded to him for his sharp turn of form since making an impression on loan with Queens Park Rangers at the end of last season.
