The star duo have attracted major interest from clubs across Europe but the president insists they will reject all offers for them this summer

Lyon president Jean-Michel Aulas says the French club will do “whatever it takes” to hold on to star players Nabil Fekir and Alexandre Lacazette.

The two attackers have attracted a great deal of interest from across the continent, with Lacazette topping the Ligue 1 goalscoring charts with 27 goals.

However, Aulas insists he will reject any offers that come in for the pair to ensure they remain at Lyon next season.

“We will do whatever it takes to keep them, we will refuse all offers that might come in,” he told Telefoot.

“It is in the interest of the players who grew up in Lyon and will play in Europe in Lyon’s new stadium.

“Yes Lacazette will be here, for sure. He wants to be the first scorer at the new stadium, but he has to compete with Nabil and Clinton N’Jie for that. Fekir? Yes he will be there too.”

Lyon are keeping the pressure on Paris Saint-Germain at the top of Ligue 1 as they look to claim the French league title and Aulas believes his side can do it.

He added: “We have always been in the title race since the first day. I believe we will do it because I know that the players will do everything to win the three matches that are left.”
