Valencia have announced that promising defender Jose Gaya has signed a new contract that will keep him at the club until June 2020.
The 19-year-old’s previous deal ran until the summer of 2018, but consisted a buy-out clause of €18 million and Real Madrid were closely monitoring his situation at the Mestalla side.
However, Gaya has now ended all speculation about his future by signing a two-year extension to his previous contract.
