The Brazilian midfielder snubbed a move to Italy last summer, instead opting to remain in Germany, but may be tempted by a transfer this January after Wolfsburg’s poor form

Juventus and Inter are set to go head to head over the signing of Wolfsburg midfielder Luiz Gustavo this January, according to Calciomercato.

The two Italian clubs each attempted to sign the Brazilian last summer, only for him to choose to remain in Germany.

However, Wolfsburg are now languishing in 14th in the Bundesliga and it is understood that the 29-year-old may be tempted by a move at the turn of the year.
