The teenage sensation looks likely to leave La Liga in January to gain more first team experience

Real Madrid’s teenage midfielder Martin Odegaard is set to seal a loan deal to Eredivisie side Heerenveen, according to Marca.

The Norway international recently turned 18, but is not seen as a main squad player by Zinedine Zidane at Santiago Bernabeu.

Zidane is willing to let Odegaard leave in order to get more playing experience under his belt, having not featured in La Liga this season.

Heerenveen are currently fourth in the Dutch top tier, as Jurgen Streppel looks to guide his team to a European finish.
