The Blues are out to beat off competition from Manchester United for the Atalanta starlet by submitting an early offer ahead of the upcoming January transfer window

Chelsea have moved to beat their rivals to Atalanta starlet Franck Kessie by submitting a €25 million bid for him, according to France Football.

The Blues have been persuaded to launch a big-money offer to the overachieving Serie A outfit for their starlet after watching him net six goals from midfield this term.

Chelsea hope to see off interest from Juventus and Manchester United, whose manager Jose Mourinho has reportedly already spoken to Kessie personally.
