The 35-year-old has fallen down the pecking order at Juventus and would jump at the chance to return to Old Trafford, where he won five Premier League titles

Patrice Evra is keen on returning to Manchester United to see out his career, according to The Times.

The 35-year-old left Old Trafford for Juventus in 2014 to call time on a trophy-laden eight years, which included five Premier League titles and one Champions League.

Evra was initially a key player for the Serie A giants, helping them to back-to-back titles, but has featured just nine times this season and has now told friends he would jump at the chance to return to Old Trafford.

Rio Ferdinand fuelled speculation with an Instagram post directed at his former team-mate, writing: “Throwing it out there… @patrice.evra I’m hearing thru social media u coming home bro?!? Talk to me!”
