The Serbian defender will not be offered a new contract by Pep Guardiola and is now free to speak with interested parties from outside of England

Aleksandar Kolarov will not be offered a new contract at Manchester City and is free to move on, according to The Sun.

The 31-year-old defender has been at the Etihad Stadium since 2010, claiming two Premier League titles, two League Cups and the FA Cup.

He is not part of Pep Guardiola’s long-term plans, though, and will not be presented with the opportunity to extend a deal that is due to run out in the summer.

As he approaches free agency, Kolarov is now allowed to speak with interested clubs from outside of England, with Turkish giants Galatasaray among those reported to be keen on acquiring his services.
