The Gunners manager wants to sign a long-term replacement for Olivier Giroud but is currently unwilling to meet the £50 million price tag on the 23-year-old Italian

Arsene Wenger is keeping tabs on Torino striker Andrea Belotti but has been put off by the Italian’s £50 million price tag, according to The Sun.

Belotti has been one of the breakout stars of the current Serie A campaign, scoring 13 goals in 16 league matches and assisting three more.

Wenger is in the market for a long-term replacement for Olivier Giroud but is currently unwilling to stump up the cash required to sign the 23-year-old, believing that Danny Welbeck can provide the Gunners with a boost during the second half of the season.
