The Netherlands international is looking for a way out of Old Trafford, but the two clubs want different types of deals, which has disrupted a potential move

Everton’s pursuit of Memphis Depay has hit a snag because they want to sign him on loan, while Manchester United would rather sell him, Sky Sports reports.

Jose Mourinho said on Friday that the Netherlands international is allowed to leave Old Trafford should the right offer come in.

And while Everton are interested in the winger, their desire to bring him in on a temporary deal with an option to buy is at odds with what United want.

There was talk of a potential move to France for the ex-PSV star, with Nice interested, but their president says he is too expensive for his side.
