Valencia agree deal with Juventus to loan Zaza

The Italy international is desperate to get out of West Ham and an early end to his spell with the Hammers is the only thing left to be agreed before he can move to Spain

Simone Zaza’s spell at West Ham is set to come to an early end after Valencia agreed terms with Juventus on a loan deal, Goal understands.

‘Valencia have bought s*** players’

The Italy international made a season-long switch to the Hammers in the summer but has failed to make an impact in the Premier League.

With Zaza keen to escape, Valencia had been interested for some time but the departure of coach Cesare Prandelli had put the move at risk.

However, after the Spanish side’s sporting director, Jesus Garcia Pitarch, flew out to Italy to complete negotiations, an agreement has been met.

It would see Valencia obliged to buy Zaza in full at the end of the season if he plays between 10-15 games for them and his adopted side are not relegated from La Liga, with a permanent switch set to cost €15 million (£12.9m).

Los Che‘s agreement with Juventus is in place and an understanding between Zaza and the Spanish side is close to completion, with the last stumbling block now negotiations between West Ham and the Bianconeri for an early termination of his existing loan.
