The Colombian playmaker has fallen out with the Real Madrid coach and sees a switch to Old Trafford as the ideal next move in his career

James Rodriguez is trying to engineer a move to Manchester United after falling out with Zinedine Zidane at Real Madrid, according to the Daily Mirror.

The Colombian is represented by Jorge Mendes – who also handles Jose Mourinho’s affairs – and has instructed the super-agent is already in talks with United executive vice-president Ed Woodward.

A move could even take place this month, with Chelsea and Paris Saint-Germain also interested but James favouring a switch to Old Trafford.
