The Manchester clubs are both interested in signing Tottenham defenders, but face competition from each other and high transfer fees in their fight for new signings

Premier League rivals Manchester United and Manchester City are set to battle over Tottenham defenders Kyle Walker and Danny Rose, according to the Sun.

Jose Mourinho is willing to spend £60 million to sign the pair of full-backs, but faces stiff competition from City boss Pep Guardiola.

With both players having signed long-term deals at White Hart Lane just last year, the Manchester clubs will be forced to splash out if they want to sign either or both of the England internationals.
