The club that recently signed Axel Witsel from Zenit St Petersburg is hoping to lure the in-demand striker away from Serie A, though it won’t be easy
Arsenal target Andrea Belotti is the latest player to be coveted by a Chinese side, with Fabio Cannavaro’s Tianjin Quanjian ready to make an approach for him, Tuttosport reports.
The 23-year-old striker has been heavily linked to a move to the Gunners, though Wenger put a dampener on reports his side had made an offer for him when he declared them as “fake news”.
Torino, though, have confirmed a bid has been made, though his agent says even a bid of €65 million will not be enough to convince the Serie A side to let him go.
With a release clause of €100m, the high price is likely to turn off many potential clubs, but the Chinese Super League is an option for him.
The report claims he could be offered €15m per season in China, which is treble his current salary. However, the Italy international is happy at Torino and, furthermore, does not want to leave Europe just yet.
