The Monaco youngster narrowly missed out on Euro 2016 due to injury, but could soon be given a chance to shine on a similarly big stage
Manchester United are plotting a £70 million move for Monaco midfielder Bernardo Silva, The Sun claims.
The report suggests boss Jose Mourinho wants the 22-year-old Portuguese to link up with Antoine Griezmann, for whom a summer switch is said to be on the cards.
A move for Silva, who has four goals and as many assists this season, may not be a simple one, however, with Real Madrid said to be keen admirers of the youngster as well.
The good news for United, however, is that the playmaker is represented by Jorge Mendes, who is also Mourinho’s agent.
