I’ve held Arsenal talks, admits Stuttgart starlet Berkay Ozcan
Stuttgart midfielder Berkay Ozcan claims that he has already held talks over a potential switch to Arsenal.
The teenager is wary that joining the Emirates side may hamper his development due to a lack of first-team opportunities, but he is hopeful that a move can be completed in the near future.

“My agent and I are in talks with Arsenal,” he told beIN Sport. “Arsenal have been scouting me for the past two years and send representatives to watch my games.
“I am not sure if now is the right time to join Arsenal, it may be a bit early for me. I want to prove myself here and keep developing first.
“Ultimately, Arsenal is the club I want to join in the future. God willing I will achieve my goal.”
Berkay has also revealed that he is friends with Gunners playmaker Mesut Ozil, whose contract dispute remains unresolved. And the 19-year-old does admit there are some similarities between the two men.
“When he comes to Germany, we quite often meet when the opportunity arises,” he said.
“We go to the same cafe, we ate together once, and my hair is like his!”
The 19-year-old has chosen to represent Turkey at youth level and has turned out three times for Stuttgart so far this season, though only once as a brief cameo in the Bundesliga.
