Alan Dzagoev has played down talks of a supposed move to Arsenal this summer and is completely focused on the Euro championships going on.
The CSKA midfielder has been recently linked with a move to Arsenal but the he pleads ignorance and refuses to be drawn into this until the Euros are over. The 21 year old expressed his desire to try his skills in other top European leagues, but insists that there is nothing he is concerned about at the present moment.
“Of course, I have the desire to try myself in other clubs in Europe,” said Dzagoev.
“But I’ll think about it only after the tournament. Now I’m doing my own job here.”
The young star has already scored three goals in the Euros so far and Arsenal coach Arsene Wenger has really developed a liking for him. CSKA are willing to let him leave if the Londoners meet their valuation of £13m, which can however be bargained down to under £10m since Dzagoev’s current contract expires at the end of this year. Is the Russian star good enough to become an important player for a club like Arsenal, after coming to London from a small club like CSKA?
