M’Vila Admits Arsenal Plans

Arsenal target Yann M’Vila has finally spoken of his desire to join the Gunners even though he had earlier stated his intention to sort his future out after he will return to the Euros.

Arsene Wenger has been a long term admirer of the Rennes star and after weeks of speculation the 21 year old has finally expressed his plans to play for Arsenal in the coming season.  M’Vila featured for the French side in their last fixture against the Ukrainians, which comes as a sweet surprise to Wenger who had to reconsider his plans of signing him due to the injury that he picked up in a friendly prior to the Euros.

The defensive midfielder, who has been likened to Patrick Vieira, is now almost certain to join the Gunners as soon as the Euros conclude.

“I have heard Arsenal are interested in me. I like Arsenal and I like the Premier League,” M’Vila was quoted as saying.

“I don’t know what is happening with the clubs, but yes, I would be interested in the Premier League and Arsenal.”

Arsene Wenger is determined to add quality players to his squad and M’Vila’s arrival could very well signal the true intentions of the manager. He has already decided to release close to seven young players including Johann Djorou, and the likes of Nicklas Bendtner and Marouane Chamakh are also on the verge of leaving the Londoners. Wenger is clearly looking to rebuild the side and with the arrival of Podolski and now M’Vila, they could very well turn into a major title contender next season.
