Bayern don’t want M’Vila, clears path for Arsenal

French midfielder Yann M’Vila’s agent has confirmed that Bayern Munich have no interest in the player and opened the doorway for Arsenal to sign him this summer.

Arsenal have been hot on the trail of the Rennes star ever since the transfer window opened and many believe that it is just a matter of time now before the player signs for them. The transfer saga involving the 21 year old has lasted the whole season, and after the latest ‘come and get him’ declaration from his agent, it’s important the Gunners act fast and seal the deal at the earliest.

Werner Baader, the player’s agent told the French press, “We had contact with Bayern Munich over Yann M’Vila.”

“He is not the kind of player they are looking for at Bayern. They are looking for someone in this position, but they want somebody with different abilities.”

The Frenchman is regarded as one of the brightest young talents in Europe at the moment and could prove to be a major signing for the Londoners. Arsene Wenger is a huge admirer of the Ligue 1 star and with M’Vila keen on a move as well, the manager would sign him once he returns from the Euro championships.
