Hulk Waits For Chelsea Move

Porto star Hulk has chosen to play down the chances of his expected departure from  the club following intense media attention over the last few weeks.

The Brazilian forward has refuted claims that he is trying to push through a deal and move to Chelsea this summer. The highly rated 25 year old has been strongly linked with a move away from the Estadio do Dragao this summer with Chelsea and PSG playing tug of war to land the player. But the club has rejected reports that a deal has been agreed already after the news of a possible agreement with the European champions Chelsea flooded the internet.

Hulk maintains that he is dedicated to Porto’s cause and would continue to give his best no matter where he ends up after August.

“I’m not obsessed to leave Porto,” he told Brazilian daily Globo Esporte. “I like the Portuguese fans a lot and I have always done the right thing regarding that club.

“Now if the negotiations advance and some European club reach an agreement with Porto, I’ll leave.

“But we still have time to discuss this. The transfer window only closes in August.”

Asked what club he will be at by the end of August, Hulk added: “I honestly don’t know about my future. I only know that other clubs besides those two (Chelsea and PSG) are interested in signing me.”
