Premier League trio Manchester United, Arsenal and Liverpool are monitoring Santos playmaker Ganso’s situation at the Brazilian club after he refused to sign a contract extension.
Paulo Henrique Ganso, popularly known as Ganso, has a contract that runs till February 2015 at Santos but the South American club is keen on tying the player down for another few years. The 22 year old rejected the new contract which is believed to be worth £112k per week and has as a result alerted teams across Europe over a possible transfer.
The 22 year Samba international has been previously linked to English clubs when Manchester United boss Sir Alex Ferguson tried to sign him a couple of seasons back. However this time, he is likely to face stiff competition from Arsenal and Liverpool who are trying to rebuild their sides prior to the new season. The highly rated attacking midfielder has a buy out clause of £40m in his contract but it is highly unlikely if any of the clubs would break the bank to sign him this summer.
