Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger has rejected an offer to coach the Brazilian national team according to French newspaper Le Parisien.
Wenger was reportedly offered a two year contract by the CBF, the Brazilian Football Confederation, after current coach Mano Menezes has come under scrutiny due to recent results. The former Corinthians’ manager was appointed as the coach of Brazilian national team following Dunga’s resignation after the World Cup 2010 debacle.
Arsene Wenger, who recently completed 900 games in charge of Gunners, has once again shown great loyalty towards the London club. He has on previous occasions turned down offers to coach Real Madrid among other notable clubs.
