If Sky Sports is to be believed, European champions Chelsea have finally succeeded in luring their summer target Oscar, who they have been tracking throughout the summer.
Chelsea have seen a lot of transfer activity taking place this transfer window as they have already clinched the signing of Eden Hazard, Marko Marin and Kevin de Bruyne, and have seen the likes of Didier Drogba, Salomon Kalou and Jose Bosingwa leave in the ongoing transfer window.
With their wide play looking considerably strong than last term following the new signings, Chelsea are looking to strengthen their central midfield playmaking role, and are understood to be pursuing 20-year old Oscar, who is expected to arrive in London with the Brazilian national team for the Olympics.
The Blues made an initial £20 million bid for the youngster which was blatantly rejected by Internacional. Chelsea have now returned with an improved offer, thought to be in the region of £25 million, which has been accepted.
However, to know the official ongoings regarding this transfer, we might have to wait for a few days until the time Chelsea announce their fourth signing of the summer.
