The fans at San Siro have reacted angrily to the fire sale of the two stars even after Silva’s expressal of desire to stay at Milan. Head coach Massimiliano Allegri has zeroed in on the prolific Dutchman as the ideal successor to Ibrahimovic and have apparently sounded out the player’s agent. The Serie A heavyweights however are yet to establish contact with the Gunnners over the transfer.
Manchester clubs are in a head to head tussle already over Van Persie after Sir Alex Ferguson accepted having put in a bid for the 28 year old. With £20m being the asking fee for the star, plenty of clubs are seeing this as an amazing opportunity to get quality in return for money.
