Turkish outfit Besiktas are keen on having Arsenal outcast Marouane Chamakh on loan next season with a clause to make it permanent for £4m amidst intense interest from Ligue 1 side Bordeaux.
The 28 year old Moroccan international moved on a free transfer from the Ligue 1 side to Arsenal in the summer of 2010 but has failed to produce the same form in the Premier League. The striker found himself relegated to the bench most often and was used primarily as a substitute. But the arrivals of Lukas Podolski and Olivier Giroud has cast a spell of doubt over the Moroccan’s future at the club and many believe that Chamakh could very well be heading out of the Emirates this summer
The tall lanky striker managed just one goal last season while making 19 appearances for the Gunners which inadvertently signalled the end of the road for Chamakh at the Emirates. Bordeaux are also said to be interested in the striker as he had a good spell at the French club prior to joining the Londoners.
Bordeaux President Jean-Louis Triaud also admitted having contacted Arsenal back in January over a possible loan deal but the club had turned down their advances back then.
