Chelsea’s top transfer target, Brazilian prodigy Oscar is relishing at the prospect of donning the blue Chelsea jersey, however he makes it clear that currently, his focus is completely at the upcoming Olympic games, where he wishes to help Brazil attain glory.
Considered as one of the most exciting young Brazilian prospects, 20-year old Oscar has grabbed several eyeballs due to his performances for current club Internacional. Along with Chelsea, many other top European sides have made inquiries regarding his availability.
Chelsea have however won the race to sign the playmaker, as Oscar has already passed a medical with the London club, and the deal is pending subject to some minor details. Chelsea are hoping to finalize the deal, thought to be around £25 million and officially announce their fourth summer acquisition by the weekend.
Oscar is excited with linking up with some of the top players at Stamford Bridge, and he has revealed about his ‘dream’ move to Chelsea as he spoke to the local media.
“If I go to Chelsea it will be a dream come true,” he admitted. “They are one of the greatest teams in Europe.
“I am confident I will have a good Olympics and, if I go to Chelsea, I will arrive feeling good.
“I am confident in my ability. If I go, I will just keep on doing what I have been doing at Internacional, which is working hard to improve all the time.
“But I am not really even thinking about much, I am just focused on the Olympic Games.”
