Danish striker Nicklas Bendtner is destined to leave Arsenal this summer after Celta Vigo joined the race for the out of favor striker along with Milan.
Bendtner has been talking up his purported exit from the club ever since the Euros began and a powerful display during the tournament has earned him a few suitors. The 24 year old has struggled to live up to the hype at Arsenal and spent the last season on loan at Sunderland. But with Milan and Celta Vigo both apparently keen on signing the £7.5m rated striker, his time at the Emirates seems to have come to an end.
The Danish striker scored a brace against hosts Ukraine in the Euros but failed to ensure his country’s safe passage to the quarter finals. Arsene Wenger has given up on the player who has already spent seven years at the club and is keen to ship him off to garner more funds to continue his summer shopping.
It is believed that the fee from Bendtner’s transfer will be used to sign Malaga midfielder Santi Cazorla after the Gunners’ had their initial bid rejected by the La Liga club.
