Arsenal are set to be face stiff competition from AC Milan and Inter for Real Madrid midfielder Nuri Sahin according to reports in the Italian media.
Sahin, 23, moved to the Santiago Bernabeu last summer from Bundesliga giants Borussia Dortmund and has since then struggled to make his way into the starting line up for Real Madrid. The Turkish international managed 10 appearances for the Los Blancos and with the mooted arrival of Luka Modric, he could find himself further down the pecking order.
Arsenal were reported to have arranged a temporary deal for the young star but Arsene Wenger too little time to thrash down all rumors. But sports website Calciomercato.com reports that Milan heavyweights have also joined in the race and AC Milan seemingly stand the best chance to get him. After the sales of Thiago Silva and Zlatan Ibrahimovic for big money to PSG, the Italian giants have a big purse to spend this summer.
Arsenal could once again have to pay the penalty of dilly dallying over transfers after failing to secure the services of Yann M’Vila fast enough. Unless Arsene Wenger sanctions a purchase of the young Madrid star, he would be left to rue this later.
As an AC Milan fan I would love to see him wearing red and black T-shirt. I would thank Mr.Berlusconi and Galliani if they try to lure him as soon as possible. FORZA MILAN…….
