Djamel Mesbah appears to be on his way out of AC Milan this summer, as CEO Adriano Galliani has confirmed that the San Siro side are in talks with Palermo over a transfer.
The Algeria international joined Milan from Lecce in the January transfer window, but has since been unable to make an impact at the Rossoneri.
Therefore, the 2011 Serie A champions are ready to cash in on Mesbah again, and Palermo are keen to lure the 27-year-old to Sicily.
“Negotiations are taking place with Palermo over Mesbah,” Galliani stated to Sky Sport Italia.
“If we indeed sell him this summer, we will not bring in a replacement for him.”
Mesbah has a contract with Milan until June 2016.
