Maccabi Tel Aviv striker Moussa Konate has admitted he has his agent working on acquiring a move to the Premier League, with a host of clubs reportedly interested in the promising youngster.
The 19-year-old forward who performed well in the Olympics, scoring five times for Senegal, has reportedly attracted the attention of several clubs including Norwich, West Brom, Fulham and Stoke.
The young attacker who will begin his second season with the Israeli club after his move in the summer of 2011, has stated that despite enjoying his time in Israel, he would jump at the chance to move to England’s top division, and has his agent working on a transfer.
“My agent is Moustapha Kamara, he is in Marseille and he has given a mandate to an agent in England to represent me,” Konate told Sky Sports.
“Any club that is interested can contact Mr Joseph Donkor in England.
“I want to play in England. I loved the Olympics and the atmosphere in the stadiums. It is a great league. No disrespect to the Israel league, but the Premier League is top quality.”
