Inter have not yet discussed Giuseppe Rossi, says Fassone

Marco Fassone has stressed that Inter have not made a decision yet about whether they want to make a move for Villarreal attacker Giuseppe Rossi in the January transfer window.

The Italy international, who is currently recovering from a knee injury, is keen to leave the Segunda Division side, and has set his sights on a move to Serie A.

Nevertheless, despite the Nerazzurri‘s interest earlier this year, a winter transfer to the Giuseppe Meazza side is still far away.

“The next transfer moves for Inter? In January we’ll see if we need to take action,” Fassone was quoted as saying by ANSA.

“Giuseppe Rossi? We still haven’t discussed a potential move for him.”

The 25-year-old forward joined Villarreal from Manchester United in the summer of 2007. His current contract with the club is due to expire in 2016.
