Jermaine Jenas is on the brink of moving to QPR on loan from Tottenham, Goal.com can reveal.
The England international is heading for a medical in west London and is then set to complete the formalities of a move at Loftus Road.
QPR pulled the plug on a triple Spurs swoop for Jenas and his colleagues David Bentley and Andros Townsend this morning after being put off by Tottenham chairman Daniel Levy’s demand that the relegation strugglers take all three players or none at all.
However, the two clubs have now returned to the negotiating table and, barring a late hitch, Jenas is set to join the relegation strugglers on loan until the end of the season.
The midfielder, who had a loan spell at Nottingham Forest earlier in the season, is contracted to Tottenham until 2014 after an extension was triggered last year.
