Lazio set to unveil new signing Saha

The Frenchman ended a frustrating spell at Sunderland after having his contract terminated by mutual consent in January and has agreed to join the Serie A side

Lazio are set to announce the signing of former Sunderland and Everton striker Louis Saha on Wednesday evening.

The 34-year-old agreed to leave the Black Cats in January, just six months into the one-year deal he had signed upon his departure from Tottenham over the summer.

And he has had little trouble finding a new club, with the Serie A outfit set to unveil their new forward at 20:00CET.

Saha first came to England with Newcastle in 1999 before enjoying spells with Fulham, Manchester United, Everton, Tottenham and Sunderland.

The Frenchman scored 112 goals during his time in the Premier League.
