The former Spain Under-21 international’s future is undecided as of yet, but he could remain at San Siro beyond this season
Silvio Berlusconi has revealed that Bojan Krkic could stay at AC Milan after the 2012-13 campaign.
The 22-year-old signed for Milan from Roma at the start of this season in what is effectively a one-year loan deal.
Bojan had previously joined the Giallorossi from Barcelona in the summer of 2011, but the Catalans have an automatic €14 million buy-back clause.
Milan have the option to block Barca’s clause, though, should the Blaugrana wish to buy the player back, and Berlusconi has now hinted that Bojan could remain in Serie A.
“We regard Bojan as a very useful player because of his vision and quality,” Berlusconi told reporters when questioned on the attacker’s future.
“I think that he could stay with Milan after this season.”
Bojan has netted three goals in 18 Serie A appearances so far in 2012-13.
