The Mexico international, who won an Eredivisie title during his time at AZ, has penned a four-year contract with the current champions
PSV have completed the signing of Espanyol defender Hector Moreno for an estimated €3.5 million.
Moreno, 27, has joined the Dutch champions on a four-year deal, meaning a second stint in the Eredivisie for the former AZ ace.
“This is a good move,” Moreno told his new club’s official website. “At PSV I can fight for the title and play in the Champions League. I was ready for a new challenge and PSV have provided that.
“My football and personality have grown during my time in Spain. I have played against some of the best players in the world. That is why I am a better player now than during my first spell in the Netherlands.”
Moreno, who represented Mexico at Brazil 2014, joined AZ from UNAM in 2008 before departing for Espanyol three years later.
