Official: Juventus sign Mario Lemina

The midfielder has sealed his move to Turin from Marseille on an initial loan deal with an option to make the move a permanent transfer

Marseille have confirmed that Mario Lemina has joined Juventus on loan with an option to buy.

The former France Under-21 international has been at the Stade Velodrome for two years after leaving boyhood club Lorient.

He attracted the attention of the Italian champions this summer and underwent a medical on Monday ahead of completing the move to Turin.

The Bianconeri will pay €1.5 million for the 21-year-old’s services in 2015-16 and have the chance to make the deal permanent ahead of next season.

Juventus have been in need of midfield reinforcements this summer after losing Andrea Pirlo and Arturo Vidal to New York City and Bayern Munich respectively.

Inter midfielder Hernanes is also expected to sign for Massimiliano Allegri’s men prior to the transfer deadline.
