The 19-year-old was highly-rated at the Etihad Stadium but struggled to force his way into Manuel Pellegrini’s starting XI and has now been sold to the Liga outfit
Jose Angel Pozo has signed for Almeria from Manchester City, the Spanish club have announced.
The 19-year-old made just four senior appearances for Manuel Pellegrini’s side, having joined the club from Real Madrid in 2012.
Pozo has signed a five-year contract with the La Liga club, who are currently second in the Spanish top-flight, having won both of their two opening games thus far this season.
Pozo has been capped up to Under-19 level by Spain, and made his first start for City on December 13, in a 1-0 win over Leicester.
