The France international will not leave the Emirates Stadium in the January transfer window, despite falling behind Alexis Sanchez in the pecking order
Oliver Giroud has no plans to leave Arsenal in January, according to the agent of the France striker.
RUMOURS: Alexis offered £400,000 a week to leave Arsenal
Alexis Sanchez’s form at central striker has restricted Giroud to just two starts this season – both in the Champions League – but he has scored five goals, including three from the bench in the Premier League.
The returning Danny Welbeck and in-form Lucas Perez, who scored a brilliant hat-trick against Basel on Tuesday night, represent further threats to Giroud’s place in the Arsenal pecking order but his agent says he is happy at the Emirates Stadium.
“Olivier is very well at Arsenal,” Michael Manuello told Foot Mercato.
“He will make his season here. Nothing is possible in January. He has no plans to move during the winter transfer window “

Last month, Giroud said he had no concerns about his long-term future with the club, despite his lack of playing time this season.
“I have no doubts over my Arsenal future,” he said.
“As with each year, there is competition for places at the big clubs. There are a lot of attackers with different styles of play.”
