The Netherlands international has yet to establish himself at Stamford Bridge but has penned a new deal until 2019, while returning to PSV Eindhoven for the rest of the season
Marco van Ginkel has signed a new contract at Chelsea, and will spend the second half of the 2016-17 season on loan at PSV Eindhoven.

Van Ginkel joined the Blues from Vitesse in 2013, but has since made just four appearances for the club, embarking on a series of loan spells since his transfer.
The Dutchman spent the 2014-15 campaign with Milan, and then joined Stoke on loan, before signing for PSV in 2016.
Van Ginkel, having extended his deal until 2019, will now continue in Holland, having helped PSV to the league title last term.
So impressive have his performances been away from Chelsea, Van Ginkel has won six caps for the Netherlands, most recently playing in central midfield in a 2-0 win over Austria.
