The Gunners boss denies reports that he is making a move for Ricardo Pereira and insists that there have been no bids for right-backs Mathieu Debuchy and Carl Jenkinson
Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger has suggested that the Gunners will not be making any further additions to their squad in January.
Wenger: Moment of truth ahead
The north Londoners are on the verge of signing Hednesford Town left-back Cohen Bramail but the 20-year-old is not expected to feature in the first team any time soon.
The likes of Porto defender Ricardo Pereira, Nigerian youngster Oghenekaro Etebo and Dortmund winger Marco Reus have all been linked with January moves, while there is still uncertainty over the futures of Alexis Sanchez and Mesut Ozil.
But after denying a newspaper report which claimed that Pereira was set for a £20 million switch to Emirates Stadium, Wenger insisted that the Gunners are not close to announcing any new arrivals or departures.
He told reporters: “No, we are not [interested in Pereira].
“In our club, who is going out? Nobody at the moment. Who is coming in? Nobody.

“The best way would’ve been to get Cazorla back, to get Danny Welbeck back. Anyway, there is very little hope to find players of that quality in the January transfer market so the best way to deal with that is to get our injured players back.”
Wenger also denied that there had been any offers for full-backs Mathieu Debuchy and Carl Jenkinson, adding that the club will “see what happens” over their potential exits in the winter window.
