The Netherlands international has signed a one-year extension with the Bundesliga side and will deal with contracts on a year-by-year basis now
Arjen Robben has signed a one-year contract extension with Bayern Munich, according to Sport1.
The Netherlands international had a deal which was set to run out at the end of the current campaign, prompting suggestions he could end up leaving the Bundesliga side.
However, Bayern and Robben, 32, continually insisted there were no concerns over an imminent contract agreement and it seems now that one has been struck.
The report states that the former Real Madrid and PSV man will commit to Bayern for another 12 months, with the new deal set to expire in the summer of 2018.
The length of the extension is said to be Robben’s choice, who now wants to commit to year-by-year deals for the remainder of his career.
