Malaga’s defence has been suspect this season, and the club have made a move to try to fix it with the signing of the veteran Argentine stopper
Martin Demichelis has re-joined Malaga on a deal that runs until the end of the season.
The Argentina centre-back previously played for the La Liga club for three seasons, helping them to a fourth-place finish in 2011-12 and the quarter-finals of the Champions League a season later.

He left for Manchester City in September 2013, following coach Manuel Pellegrini to the Etihad Stadium and winning the Premier League and two EFL Cups in his time in England.
Demichelis signed for Espanyol following his release by City in June but was let go by the Catalan club last week.
And Malaga have quickly swooped in to bolster their defence by signing him to a short-term deal.
Malaga are 13th in LaLiga, with only five teams having conceded more goals than the 31 shipped by Marcelo Romero’s men this season.
