The Etihad outfit have been struggling to recreate their early season form of late and Pep Guardiola is said to have identified his solutions
Pep Guardiola has identified Alexis Sanchez, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, Koke and Virgil van Dijk as his prime transfer targets, the Daily Star reports.
City have struggled for form in recent months after a fine start to the season, and Guardiola is said to have told the club’s hierarchy that drastic changes must be made before they can hope to regularly challenge for silverware.
The news of Pep’s interest in Alexis will unnerve Arsenal fans, who are eager for the Chilean to put pen to paper on a new deal as negotiations continue to stall.
In the case of the other targets, in-form Dortmund striker Aubameyang will not come cheap and prefers a move to Real Madrid, while Atletico maestro Koke will also require a sizeable bid and Van Dijk has been linked with moves elsewhere.
