The City goalkeeper was exiled to Serie A in the summer but may be in line for a return to the English top flight with Jurgen Klopp’s side
Liverpool have made contact with Manchester City in regards to a transfer for out-of-favour goalkeeper Joe Hart, according to reports from Italian publication Tuttosport.
The England No.1 was forced out of the Etihad club in the summer as incoming boss Pep Guardiola completed a move for Barcelona’s Claudio Bravo, sending Hart to Serie A to spend the campaign with Torino.
Hart is a wanted man in England, however, with Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool reportedly keen to secure a deal for the €15 million-rated keeper.
The Reds’ supposed interest follows indifferent performances from Simon Mignolet and summer arrival Loris Karius, who signed a five-year deal at Anfield from Bundesliga club Mainz.
