Real Madrid eye Alderweireld move
Real Madrid are set to move for Tottenham defender Toby Alderweireld, according to the Mirror.
Alderweireld has been at odds with Spurs lately, as he was not picked for Tottenham’s Champions League match at Juventus on Tuesday despite insisting he was healthy.
With his contract expiring in 2019, the 28-year-old could be sold this summer if Spurs want to avoid losing him on a free transfer.
Arsenal and Chelsea monitoring Shaw
Arsenal and Chelsea are keeping close tabs on the progress of Luke Shaw’s contract talks with Manchester United, reports the Mirror.
Shaw has worked his way back into the Man Utd picture at left-back, and is keen to extend a deal that expires after next season.
But with negotiations on a new contract yet to begin, the Gunners and Blues could swoop for Shaw this summer if there isn’t substantial progress toward a new deal.
Bayern to buy James in the summer
Bayern Munich will exercise their option to purchase on-loan Real Madrid midfielder James Rodriguez, reports Bild via AS.
The Colombian has impressed in the first season of a two-year loan with the German champions, who have a unilateral option to purchase the 26-year-old.
Bayern will have to pay €42m to sign the Colombian on a permanent basis.

Arsenal make offer for Ozyakup
Arsenal have made an offer for Besiktas midfielder Oguzhan Ozyakup, who is soon to be out of contract, according to Turkish outlet Aksam.
Ozyakup began his career with the Gunners, but was unable to make the breakthrough into the first team and moved to Besiktas in 2012.
The 25-year-old has gone on to establish himself as one of the top players in Turkey, leading Arsene Wenger to have conversations with the player about moving back to London.
Juventus make inquiry for Wilshere
Juventus have made an inquiry over Arsenal midfielder Jack Wilshere, reports the Mirror.
Wilshere will be out of contract at the end of the season and is now free to discuss and even sign a deal with any club.
But the 26-year-old, who has also been subject to interest from Milan, is understood to be keen to stay at Arsenal.

If Real Madrid are to sign Tottenham striker Harry Kane this summer, they could be forced to pay as much as £268 million, according to The Sun.
The 24-year-old is high on the Blancos’ summer wish-list, but the Champions League holders may be forced to smash the current world-record fee of £198m paid by PSG for Neymar last summer.
Spurs and Everton tracking Bergwijn
Tottenham and Everton are among several Premier League clubs monitoring PSV winger Steven Bergwijn, according to ESPN FC.
The 20-year-old has scored five goals in the Eredivisie this term, and is able to play on either flank.
Bergwijn has been capped by the Netherlands at youth levels, and has been tipped to break into the senior team soon.
Inter hope to sign Icardi to new deal
Inter want to sign Real Madrid target Mauro Icardi to a new contract without a release clause, according to Corriere dello Sport.
Icardi’s current deal includes a release clause of €90m, and Inter fear that Madrid or another club could pay that amount for the striker this summer.
Inter are offering to increase Icardi’s salary from €4.7m per season to €6.5m, while Icardi is demanding €7m per year plus a release clause between €150m and €200m.
